Fourteen national research councils in charge of chemistry have joined their forces to build the ERA-Chemistry network within the ERA-NET scheme of the European Commission.

ERA-Chemistry aims at establishing a bottom-up European Research Area in science-oriented chemical research without noticeable national, formal and research subject boundaries. Our network spots innovative research fields which are particularly suitable for transnational research and encourages European chemists to initiate and reinforce transnational cooperation in joint research projects with high European synergy effects.
